p-low, what year is the shift knob from? I need one for my 71 Jimmy with sm465. Is it correct for this? Are the threads OK?

hi there...the knob came out of a 72 c-30 that had a 4 spd in it...i do not have the knowledge as to it being the correct one for your truck but the threads are perfect....thanks, T
