Re: 150k gmc
Yeah, my feelings exactly!! If we all used that as the benchmark, most of our trucks would be worth anywhere from $25,000 - $200,000!!! Maybe the bonehead put $150,000 into it, but that's his own dang problem. I have $23K into mine, but if I get $8000 out of it, I'll do back flips and get drunk for 2 days (in that order)!!! |

Re: 150k gmc
Not sure what is so special about that truck. I have seen many trucks on this site that are way better looking. There must be quite a few $200K+ trucks on this site then.

Re: 150k gmc
Nice truck that could use some better wheels, but not 150k worth.
Hell I built a long bed and would never think a LWB would last on an expensive build.

Re: 150k gmc
They are probably hoping someone gets excited and offers 50/60 K
I have no doubt that they have a ton of money in the truck but last years show truck is old news and has to be redone to be shown in the manner that one would show that particular truck. Most of us who have been around a while have seen trophy hunters loose interest in their show rig as soon as it doesn't constantly win trophies anymore. Outside of the hideous wheels and the show only items it is a pretty nice truck though. If I could just have mine that straight I'd be more than happy. One thing about it though, every thing on the truck appears to be first rate and any one of us would be pretty happy to have about 90% of the stuff on that truck on our own trucks. Re: 150k gmc
gotta be a typo, or just very very hopeful.
for 150K, I would expect EVERY single body line to match up(the beds jacked up a tad in the front for 150K) and the panel gaps should be perfectly even all the way around for the money. no doubt he's got alot into it, but he must be trying to profit on it at that price. Or he's just fishing for attention.

Re: 150k gmc
If I had that kind of cash laying around, I'd spend about $60K on a nice, brand new dually, AND build the nicest trailer queen on the block.. and still have enough left over to live for a year!!
