Another frame VIN question
I have not yet found the VIN on my '72 2WD SWB Baltimore-built truck. If someone has a photo showing the location on a Baltimore-built '72 truck, please forward it. My VIN begins with CCE142B.

Re: Another frame VIN question
I do not know if the plants are different but these are the only spots I have seen them.

Re: Another frame VIN question
The 68 SWB I just bought was built in Baltimore and the VIN is in the same place as all the other trucks I have seen.
OBTW, Sameyrasmea72 - your chassis and motor rock! I've got an original 50th big block air truck that I will eventually do one day like yours.

Re: Another frame VIN question
Jason,
Thanks! I used a scratch-pad, some hand cleaner and a mirror and found my numbers-matching VIN!! I was quite confident it was correct but it sure feels good to see it! I sure do like the look of your chassis!! Dan |
