rims
Im having a very hard time deciding what type of rim to go with to dress up my truck a bit.
I really like the way it looks with rallys and rings but i think a nice set of rims might set it off as well too. Also contemplating a 4" lift with 35" rubber but it looks good at the height its at. So im looking for some input on whether to lift, and some suggestions on rims. |

Re: rims
IMO... I think it looks good the way it sits, but as we all know, a project is never complete.
Good luck with the choice on upgrading the wheels. As for adding a lift, I think your truck sits just right.

Re: rims
I love the look the way you have it, looks just like my 67' K10. Awesome truck, I say leave it alone, unless you're really itching.

My favorite 4x4 rim maybe the 17x8. wrap it in some 33/12.5 BFG's or procomps. good clean smooth ride from 2 great companies

Re: rims
Looks perfect as is. Steel wheels are better anyway, especially if you ever take it off road. More lift means more roll-over prone, too.

Re: rims
thanks for all the input guys.
The rubber on it now is 31" pro comps,(no rubbing) and i use it for day to day yard work it wont be doing anymore off road, at least intentionally i like the look of the bfg a/t and was thinking about changing over to that as my tires look a little too luggy. Re: rims
I say lift it and get some American racing baja's. I have a 6" and 35's on mine, Soon to be an 8" with 37's.
(Looks a little low cause I haven't put the new cab mounts on yet, old ones are squished to almost nothing) |

Re: rims
first off, beutiful truck.. I think a 4 inch lift with stock rally's rapped in 33's. How often are you going to try and get out wheeling?
