Can YOU identify this Oil Bath Housing?

I have had these for a while and they have been collecting dust. I took them out of a 1957 Cadillac that my buddy had in his field. I have always assumed they came from a ~57 Caddy, but, I haven't found any with the single side opening like these have.

I have searched for oil baths, but the closest I could find to them was the "Bat Wing" style, but that has an opening on either side or is a completely different shape.

So, can YOU identify them?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, the pictures aerent showing up for me here at work. Check and make sure they aerent 55 or 56 chevy oil bath breathers. Those sell for about $300 each!

Re: Can YOU identify this Oil Bath Housing?

Well, $300 would be nice for each. That would get me some decent parts for my truck. But, I have searched and can't find pictures of these anywhere. Maybe that makes them even more rare and worth more than $300, lol.

I would really like to know what they have come off of. Like I said in the first post, they were with the Caddy my buddy had in his field. But, I can't find any pictures of these exact air clear housings anywhere.

I finally found a picture with a 1957 Caddy with this air intake on the engine. Thanks for the help.
