Watch out for this outfit . Most of all you guys in CA
They claim that this was a remanfanured new paint ,new guts new wire.
Ok rant over
Update on steering column deal. I contacted my credit card co. and they have credited my account with the total charged for the column plus a $157.50 charge the Truck Parts co charged to my acount and sent me a copy of the credit refund slip. Thay still have the same column on their web site. At least I got my money back all except the shiping fee for returning it.Again I say watch out for these guys. The credit card co says the TRUCK PARTS CO can contest the results.

Re: Steering Column

The seller can always contest the refund and most always do. Your best protection is to document with pictures if needed what the dispute is about. Keep ALL emails, notes, and letters sent to you and from you. Keep on topic about the dispute and don't throw in extraneous events that are not directly related to the dispute like I couldn't get granny to the store to buy her wart cream so you want to be compensated for her bad attitude. Or you missed work or the show of the season. The CC Company will see this as a rant and think you are an unreasonable customer and may side with the seller.

Getting a BBB record on the company may be helpful but I wouldn't make it a pivotal point of your claim. If the CC Company asks for documentation send it along. And always let them know that you do have documentation to back your dispute that they can see if they want.

What I do when vendors don’t send what I asked for is take a picture and send it to them and start from there. Do go off on them, just say this is what I wanted and this is what I got how do we fix this.
