Here is one from a car show last August. I talked to the young guy about his truck. And it is the right color for me too!

And another. I might have the number of a guy with a NOS Eagles decal set also. Maybe I should get it for one of the burbs....

If you don't stand out by driving an old truck like that, the decals would sure bring the attention nice trucks!

I'd forgotten about these. I don't recall seeing but one or two, waaaaaay back. Wasn't it an option for '72? It seems that the change from SAE horsepower ratings, to Net ratings brought about a whole bunch of "visual enhancements" to entice us to buy the new ones. Interesting.

Aren't those the highlander package or whatever they are called???? I thought they were but maybe that was just blazers. There is a blazer that I know about with those type of decals on it and base color is baby yellow color.

There was a couple of decal options. I think there was Eagle, Sandman (?) and Highlander. Someone has a sheet showing the different decals.

Highlander was an option that included the tell-tale plaid seats. It wouldn't have had these decals unless that was ordered also. I remember there being 4 styles. Eagle, Fire, Sand, and ?? . Kind of the Earth, Wind and Fire motif.

The factory kit is pretty much a one size fits all, burbs, blazers, long and short boxes. When you put it on a long box there are a couple of seams at the front of each box side because the decals are made for a short box or blazer and then you splice in the piece for a long box. Up close it looked like a micky mouse way to make it.

I've got a yellow and green '72 with plaid seats in it, but I don't know if it is a Highlander or not. Did plaid come in non Highlander trucks?

Over Thanksgiving, I seen a straight '72 yellow blazer in Garnett, KS that had the feathers Decal on it. It was just sitting at a house. I should of turned around and took a look at it.
