Heads are 87 up and were used on 305/350 engines. Intakes are 1.94, exhausts are 1.5

Are these heads good to run?
is this setup ok to go? the heads + the cam + intake ( performer RPM) with cam specs above.
can I go with camel hump heads - 1.6 2.02? will clearance be an issue. BTW, cam is a wolverine blue racer. |

High724x4,
That happens every once and a while on this board. It is the most active board that I visit. I was glad that you posted the link for Mortec. Regards, Jim |

checking is always a good idea especially on heads that have been milled along with a block that has been decked but you are usually pretty save up to .500" with flattops and sometimes considerably more as long as your'e not playing around with advancing or retarding the cam too much.
If it gives you any solace I run "11:1" domed pistons in mine with .470" of lift and clearance is not a problem.

under the valve covers..about "how will the 193s work" they are capable of making up to 300 real HP...but thats pushing it..remember the camel humps were 300hp heads..they could make up to 370hp..but thats with 2.02 valves and 11-1 C/R and a monster cam.
