Hello all. I am new to this forum and let me say I am impressed. I have poked around here for a very short time and everyone seems to be very cool and helpful. Now on to the good stuff. I just picked up this truck to start a new project. I have a billion ideas running through my head so im not sure what it will end up being but im sure it will be fun!

Gotta love those SERIOUS rear bumpers that the work-a-day steppers always seemed to have gotten equipped with.

Mine wears one, too, but not as beefy as this !!!

Congratulations. Looks like a great starting point.

Thanks Guys! I dont know exactly what I want to do with it but lowering it is a must. Other then that... may just make it a cruiser. It has a strait 6 in it and that will stay for now. I am trying to figure out which version it is though. I believe it is a 230 or 250. It starts right up and runs like a champ.

They will bolt on. just make sure your backspacing is close to 4 1/2 inches wich is what a stock wheel should be I think.

those wheels won't bolt on, and the back spacing is way off anyways, they'll be tucked in WAY too far.

Welcome to the forum, and I would LOVE to have a clean cali stepside... esp one like that with no side mounted spare tire.

This I have found out the hard way

now that I have six of these wheels in my garage! The pattern is right but the lugs are way to short and the nuts are a different size. Spacing is off but they look like they fit similar to the wheels on this truck as far as offset goes. I really like what was done to this truck.

the main thing is the hub hole is too small.
The offset would possibly work, but the rim is so wide it would probably keep you from turning the wheel to fill lock, and almost certinaly not on a lowered vehicle.
Spacers can be used, but they are never a real good idea, esp to install a wheel that is not all that great looking, they almost look good on new trucks. (my own opinion on the last part)
