Best Drop kit?/ Best Drop Shock?

I started off wanting a small drop a 2/4 just to level the truck but once i realized i probably would want to go lower and eventually bag my truck a 4/6 drop would make more sense and set me up for future bags. now im curious to know who makes the best 4/6 drop kit and as far as shocks goes what shocks are the best lowered shocks to go with. If it means anything right now i have 17in rims with p275/60r17s all around but would like to eventually go with a 20x8 in front and a 20x10 in the back. some pics of your 4/6 drop with 20s would also be nice with the specs on the wheels as well.

Re: Best Drop kit?/ Best Drop Shock?

western chassis 3" front drop spindles w/2.5" wc springs..

rear, is wc flip kit, according to my measurements, it dropped me 5.5" front, and 6" rear...i have plenty of room in rear between my rear end, and my frame, c-notch is not needed for this set up

wheels: polished coys
tire's: toyo proxy's
20x8.5 up front w/245-40's
20x10 rear w/295-40's

shocks are doesch techs (sp?), i'm not real crazy about the shocks

Re: Best Drop kit?/ Best Drop Shock?

in my opinion 20 look better with 5 or more inches of drop and had 275/60/15 and the wheel well lip set on top of tire, and the drop components are from summit racing 3" djm spindles and 3" summit racing "ground force" drop coils and for the rear beltec flip and c-notch and 2" beltec drop shackles

the ride isnt bad at all actually, not quite as good/comfy as stock, but not that bad really

man, its been awhile...i bought and installed all this crap back in february....i'll try though, lets see..

spindles-$229
springs--$119
flip kit---$79
shocks--$39 each
wheels/tires shipped mounted and balanced-$2000
------------------------------------------------------
total around $2583....but there was also some pretty high shipping charges on the western chassis stuff, b/c i bought it from sport truck direct (i think they use mules to ship there stuff)

i bought most of the stuff from sport truck direct...just kind of pieced it all together....i've done a ton of these through the years...lowered/lifted

no c notch necessary with this set up
