Tach dash Question

I have a tach dash with an air gauge. I would really like to get a new lens for it but I am having a hard time finding one with a air guage. Any ideas

Re: Tach dash Question

No mine has an air pressure gauge. It is out of a C 60. I think I am going to use the air gauge for my bags if I can get them all on one switch

Re: Tach dash Question

there are no repopped air gauge lenses. you may post a wtb. I may have one, but it's used as well.

your best bet is to get a plexiglass polish and give that a shot.

Plexiglas polish will work but I wouldn't use it on the back side, it will take off the lettering. All of the scratches will be on the front anyway. If you use the polish be sure and lay the lens on a clean soft towel.

Re: Tach dash Question

I've neverr used any special polishes like what leon is recomending, but I sat down to watch TV one time with a clean sock and a fresh jar of mothers wheel polish/wax, and by the time my shows were over, the lens looked like new. This was on a lens with the air pressure guage also. Sold it on here about 6 years ago or so.
