i think my fuel line is clogged again witch really sucks ive ben working on my truck as much as i can today with the rain and all the same things are happing as when it was clogged last time so tomorrow i gotta blow the lines out

im happy it happened in my drive way thoe...im was pulling out to go to walmart and my truck started running rough and idling low then it just shut off and it only runs if gas is poured into the carb

it if you got it. i get the same way and sometimes think it would be so much easier to light a match to it than fix it again.

and blazenlo95 is right you might wanna think about dropping your tanks and clean them or quit running them down so low. they also sell a filter sock for the inside of the tank for $9. yours are probably like mine were... wasted.

in addition you could put an inline filter near the carb and that would prolly help

i have a inline filter near the card but thanks for the advice...every one lol and i think i might really wanna drop my tank and i didnt even run it low it was on almost half a tank

Yaaa poke I think it would be less time to pull the tank instead of messin with it all the time. When I get aggrivated with the truck I just walk away and do something else somewhere else cause she (the truck) probally wants some time alone also.lol

i wish some forum members lived close to me cuz ive heard droppin a gas tank is a pain in the ass and i defiantly wouldn't mind drinkin a beer with some of you guys while workin on my truck lol

man this sucks it aint a clogged line cuz i blew them all out and it still wont even suck up fuel from a jar.....i gues its the fuel pump even thoe that its a brand new fuel pump that i put on like 5 months ago...but what else could it be

If you had trash in the lines before, you could have it again, it could get stuck in the pump and cause it to fail.

yea. trash in the line could cause the pump to die.. yea. if you were closer to southern AL I'd tell ya to come on over to my garage.. you could do a little blocking out of my 83 bed while I drop the tank lol. provided you bring the beers. lol

Blow out your lines then run the truck almost empty. Then blow em out again and flush the tank. Takes time and patience, but it'll never happen again.

sounds liike you need to replace your float assy also due to the pickup strainer being bad..
