Having just fitted a cpp power brake booster i dont have a brake pedal when the engine is started,

I made the push rod from the brake pedal the same length,

I have beld the system 3 times, no air, tried the truck down the road locks up ok but pedal is on the floor ?

As i had no instructions from cpp i can only guess,

Re: No brake pedal

If I understand, the brakes work, but the pedal is on the floor? If so, try and make the rod that attaches to the brake pedal longer. The adjustments inside the cab are for pedal height only. The ones I have done, ( not cpp ) also say to drill a new hole about 1" below the existing hole on the brake pedal. If the rod is not threaded, make a temporary rod from anything, just to see if it helps the pedal, and THEN make a proper one to be safe.

Re: No brake pedal

Thanks for the reply. I have been on the cpp installation guide and it tells you to put the rod lengths the same as the origional, which i have.

Re: No brake pedal

I just went to their site and found this. I hope it helps explain what I am saying.
http://www.classicperform.com/TechBo...oubleshoot.htm

scroll down the page a bit and you will see a low pedal area, and click on the blue highlighted area.
