I need some help with interior color's
I'm hoping some of you experts might be able to help me put together some colors that look good together
![]() I was thinking of going with tan door panels from an 81-87 truck and matching the carpet, headliner, and pillars. The seats dont match either the current brown or tan 100% but I think they are closer to tan. Or would it look dumb if I left the brown panels, dash and used tan door bottoms, headliner, pillars, carpet... Any suggestions? I would like to find some factory buckets and rear bench but I want to do this as cheap as I can and I think the seats in there now look ok.

I don't really see that big of a difference in the two door panels to warrant a change.
If you want a more contemporary look, go with tan carpet, seats panels, etc. Spray your inserts, and bezel with a medium charcoal, or graphite color.

Re: I need some help with interior color's
Since you are leaving the trim outside, and the truck is brown, I would leave the door panels alone. A fresh carpet kit (matching the trim you have), dying the white headliner and pillar trim to match, and changing the headliner and visors to match would make a huge difference. It would look original, but updated. It looks like all of the door panel trim and pull straps are intact (which is hard to find) so I would take advantage of that. A good cleaning of what is not replaced will make a big difference too. This is just my opinion, of course. I notice I really like seeing stuff original the older I get.

I agree with jonboy, keep your present door panels and dye the pillar trim to match. He is also correct that finding 77-80 door panels in that condition and complete is very rare.
