GMC Short step 4x4?

I was comparing a friends Jimmy to my 71 truck. It got me thinking that Ive never seen a GMC Short step 4x4. Were there any of these produced? How many? It seems they would be rare if so. I think GMC was more of a work horse in that day. Yes?
Also, if there were not any of these made.. How cool would it be to make one??? Any one have pics??

Re: GMC Short step 4x4?

GMC numbers fell victim to a fire.I don`t have the Chevy numbers, but they are real low.like under 3,000 in the highest year. So,figure GMCs are alot less.
