id look into something like a custom made leaf pack (or go linked with coils) and some re located (dropped) hangers. looks like the red one has both those.

Re: What do I need?

hell dude.. a pair of "custom" 20in leafs just sold here on craigslist for 200 bucks the other day (in TX)
as for how extreme you want to go ......depends.. do you want your truck LEGAL to drive?
the average legal is 54in headlamp height...

this link will impact how much you can lift a street legal truck..
is having 44's on street worth the ticket?

Re: What do I need?

If you go any bigger than a 12in spring pack your truck will have an very stiff ride. I'd go with a number of items to achieve the height you want. I am going to have about 21" of lift when I am finished with my truck. What I have done is I have a 12" spring pack, 6" front shackle, 3" body lift, rear shackle flip, and will have 4" added to the front and rear spring hangers. I would suggest as much frame additions to help with the stiffness of the ride.

Re: What do I need?

why do you want to lift it that high? unless you do mud runs its pretty much useless. it wont be legal to drive on the road, and too top heavy to do much wheeling. its your truck though do what you want

I just want it bigger. Im thinking of going with a 12" spring pack and go from their. I really like the blue truck i posted earlier. It dont look to big but small either. This weekend I will go out and look for some 3/4 ton axles also. Is their anything else i will need for them axles?

Re: What do I need?

you will want to go with crossover steering if you go this high so if the front axle that you get is a dana 44 than you will want a set of flat top knuckles
