67-68 front clip on a 72 truck

When switching over to a 67-68 front clip on a 72 truck what year bumper do you use? do you also use the 72 bumper brackets?

I am wanting to switch over the clip on my truck as a fender on my new truck is already dinged up pretty good and the grill is cracked to heck .

67-70 Chevy bumper or 67/68 GMC bumper with 67-70 2wd outer bumper brackets. Inner brackets are the same regardless

What bumper is on that truck?

i like a smooth bumper with no lights, it seems some years bumpers might be more straight then others? any idea?

I want to run the 67-68 clip with a straighter bumper with no lights.

Re: 67-68 front clip on a 72 truck

Those trucks have 71/72 bumpers on them. those bumper will require the 71/72 2wd outer bumper brackets. 67-70 do not have turn signals in them

Yes, 67-70 Chevy AND 67/68 GMC bumpers and brackets are identical.
