this been a prob for others??
headers fitting with clutch linkage??...have not put them on yet but tues we will see what happens.

Yes, in general if you have straight rod from the clutch pedal to a straight bar on the top of the z-bar between frame and engine, you may need to bend both to get to fit.
Best plan is an offset pedal rod , common on 68 and newer with a matching offset built ito the top bar on the z-bar. You may need to change the mount on the frame also as that setup is about 3/4 wider than the non-offset type. Pretty much talkng about an original V8 2wd installed in the "correct" forward position. If you are/have replaced 6 banger with a V8 and left it in the rear position or it is a 4x4 then there are different combinations that will work too. Main thing is the offset rod and bar used in the factory setups, I think they went to that offset when the big blocks were made avaiable in 68.

Great info GM. Ill have have fun with this im sure....just hope they fit. will be well worth the effort in the end. thanks a bunch.
