Cables dont want to slide through housing very good. has any body had luck soaking in penetrating oil or do they make repo that has teflon inner so it slides better than stock ones?

Re: htg a/c control cables
Penetrating oil does help. Have you checked for kinking of the inner cable?

Re: htg a/c control cables
I went out after work pulled 1 cable off to experiment soaked in penetrating oil straightened inner cable a bit seemed to free up some. guess ill try another tomorrow. Thanks for the input. inner cable did have slight kink. the cable is just basically a wire running through a coiled wire housing its a wonder they dont make repo cables with teflon inner for cable to slide freely.
