What size carriage bolts in front bumper?

I've had the front bumper off for probably the whole 12 years I've had it. In these years I've forgot what size I need to buy. I'd like to buy these and get it on before the show Saturday.

They are special "bumper bolrs".They are capped with stainless steel and not a hardware store item. Are you geting zinc or galvanized?I think there will be raised markings on the head.i also kinda doubt a hardware place would have 1/2" carriage bolts that short.do you have a specialty automotive astener store near by?I`ve never checked if those places still carry bumper bolts.

That's what I used, the only exception is I used stainless with nylon lock nut that I got for free!! and since I work for Pepsi and for some reason they get all there fasteners with no markings on them, so with a little polishing I'll never have to worry about the rust streaks you always see on nice chrome bumpers.

Re: What size carriage bolts in front bumper?

I have a few Bolt and Screw stores. If anyone has what I need it will be them. Most of the time if you get a few bolts they just give them away. They make their money on large orders. I'll try there and if they don't I'll just order. I just wanted my bumper on for this show.

Most auto parts stores have bumper bolts.
