Front clip help
I have an opportunity to get a GMC Jimmy clip for cheap enough to make it make sense right now. My buddy knows a guy who has one for parts. It has a new grill, new lights, original paint on the panels. He will basically let me take it now, and pay him for it when I can.
So, here is where your help comes in. I have a tube style grille on the truck now. I have a 91 Suburban grill, lights, radiator support, harness, etc. sitting in the garage. And I have this Jimmy grill available. So, what do you guys think I should do? I like the idea of the Jimmy grill because it is perfect, and a little more different. I like my tube grill because it is a little different too. And, I had planned on doing the Suburban grill, but have thought about not because it is "the thing" right now. I NEED HELP!

Re: Front clip help
d. none of the above
Since you don't want to change fenders I would go with a silverado grille that has the stacked headlights -your truck is plane and simple - keep it that way. |

Re: Front clip help
So, my mind is made up. I am going to do the GMC grill. The more I look at it, the more I like it. And Adam, I might just take your advice too. A billet insert would kill it on my truck.

Re: Front clip help
I think the 89 - 91 grills are ugly. I'd get a phantom grill for the 81 - 88 grill you've got now.

Re: Front clip help
I have never liked the Phantoms.
Bob, only one question there, I am tired of staring at that front end, and it needs some help. So, why not change to a different "stock"?
