vent windows??

Well im at a crossroads with the wing windows, should I rebuild mine or get the replcements from Truck Shop or such??? The ones they have look sweet but not sure about the fittment??? Anyone out there with any advice on the repo. stuff??? Also considering the 1 piece kit but havent seen to much about them with the fittment since there's only one company out there I can find... Oh and this is on a 66.... Thanks in advance...

I rebuilt mine using the kits from the Truck Shop. You have to drill out some rivets (to break it down) to put in the new rubber and I then pop riveted it back together. I did this on both doors of my '66 Burb that I am now trying to finish.

Thanks guys... I will just rebuild my old ones, my brother can get powder coating done for nuthin so that will be the way to go...

Alan, your truck is lookin great... Wondering what the name and brand of the orange is, looks like tanger orange but with the silver/grey its hard to tell...

Thanks sandfreek, it's PPG 1969 Chevy Hugger Orange. I think the code is 2004 or 2084 I can't remember for sure. It's somewhere in my build.

Not to jack the thread but has anyone found the way to repair the pin the handle attaches to? Alan's Classic thread is memorized in my little brain.

I'm glad something good comes from my mistakes. At least all I have to do is change out the window frame.
