Power Brakes - Runs Rough Now

I just finished my power brake install. Stops ok, but my 250 is now running rough. I'm wondering if its a vacuum issue. I put a T fitting on the vacuum port between the carb and the head. The T is connected to the booster and the PCV valve. The little vacuum ports go to the vacuum advance and the AIR pump. It runs rough, especially when accelerating from a stop. Any ideas?

sounds to me like a HUGE vacum leak... try bypassin the PCV and see if it smooths up... bet it does...

Vacuum leak. Whatever you did, you created a vacuum leak. Could it be a leaking power booster? I use a Mityvac vacuum pump to test vacuum operated items to see if they are holding vacuum or if they have ruptured diaphrams.

Re: Power Brakes - Runs Rough Now

Autozone carries rebuilt boosters for about $100. I recommend you get one. Brakes need to be 100%.
