Is anybody running rear disc brakes with pics of them? I want to do disc on the rear of my 66. I've been doing some research and found parts that would make it work. I know of kits to buy but those are hella expensive. I am looking for a rear disc bracket for our trucks that will allow disc brakes. Anybody have pics and info on how you did it?

Are you going to stay with 6 lugs or change to 5 lugs?

I have a couple different brackets for the 5 lug

I want to stay with 6 lug since I just put new 20's on it. I've already put 6 lug disc on the front.

classicparts. but that one is 599.95

Use a front rotor and caliper off of a '73 to '87 chevy 4x4. there is a couple of differnent ways to do the bracket. one is to mod the stock 4x4 part and weld it on. or buy one from i belive either balistic fab or blue torch fab. i belive it was under $50. Check the 4x4 section for some ideas. It would be the same way as any other rear disk conversion. when i get home, i'll see if i have any picks from the back of our mud trucks. Hope this helps.
