Thumbs up This fourm is the greatest!!!!!

This forum (4x4) has been doing really well and taken off for the good. You know it hasn't really been here that long and we are catching up with some of the other forums that have been here longer. Very few problems and a great bunch of guys. Thanks. If you have ideas on ways to improve 4x4 feel free to post em here. Sometimes if it's for the better of the fourm and enough respond, things can be improved or changed.

Over in the other forums when you see someone that posts about a 4x4 related item tell them that they will get better responses over here in 4x4. I remember before this forum was created and all the trucks where in the same forum so many post where like, is this 2 wheel drive or 4wheel drive? There is a big difference!!!!

(A real truck lets me pull up beside a car and see who/what is inside.)

Re: This fourm is the greatest!!!!!

We wouldn`t need this section if they just would have called locking hubs what they really are..."unlocking hubs".How`s anyone supposed to understand 4wds starting off all backwards?

Re: This fourm is the greatest!!!!!

I think it works out pretty good. All your 4x4 chassis stuff, tires, wheels, etc should go here, all years. The body, 67-72, 73-87, stuff and all the other years stuff should go into their respective forms. I have paid a lot of attention over the years and most of the best answers in the other forums for 4x4 stuff comes from the guys that come here. Another thing, try searching the 67-72 forum for locking hubs and see what you come up with. When we get the larger searver and search is up and working it is easier to find things if they are in the one forum.

No ideas how to make this forum better?

Gotta agree the forum is doing very well. Not sure what improvements could be made, but if I think of any, I'll be sure to let you know.

Re: This fourm is the greatest!!!!!

you could make the action pis a sticky and remove the engine sale as a sticky i belive the sale has ended. And something where you could delete your own post/threads.

Re: This fourm is the greatest!!!!!

The first 3 are doable. The last was was done because of someone getting their undies in a wad and deleting a bunch of stuff witch pretty much destroyed the threads. (I had thought that the edit had been channged back, and I will check into that) I do know that site wide we are trying to do with as few of stickies as we can. As far as my thread being up there all the time. That sticky has most everyones truck picture in it. I can also think of a couple more threads that could be stickies. Maybe take turns like for a month at a time or so. Thanks for the ideas.

Re: This fourm is the greatest!!!!!

ummmm, what was the Question??????
Just kidding, I like this forum, Being a 4x4 guy I like to come and see what other people are doing, give some advice, and get some everty now and then.
One way to make it better would be to have a 4X4 truck of the month,
mabye an area to list local events that are comming up, and mabby a 4x4 sale section, so that if you are looking for 4x4 parts you dont have to wade through all the 2wd stuff.
Just some Ideas...You could always add me as a mod!!

Re: This fourm is the greatest!!!!!

All great ideas!!!!! This forum does K.A.!

P.S. The best idea was bringing back the 4x4 action pix sticky.
.............in my "unbiased" opinion.

Re: This fourm is the greatest!!!!!

I completely agree with everything already stated, my only recommendation/wish is to agree to have our own 4x4 truck of the month, an to have our own classifieds!!!
