67/68 chevy front clips vs. 67/68 gmc front clips

hey guys i was wondering if you can change just the grille on a 67-68 gmc to a 67-68 chevy, or do you have to swap the whole clip? my dad is a chevy guy and is looking at a 67 gmc but likes my style grille more....can it be done?

I am not sure if GMC had the head light perches on the rad cradel or not. You can aways grind the spot welds off of the light perches . Just didnt want to miss lead to into thinking that a Chevy grill is behind the GMC!!!!!!

To swap a 67-68 Chevy grille for a 67 or 68 GMC grille you need 67/68 Grille top bar and main lower grill, forward lamp harness and the core support. If your support is good you can drill the spot welds out holding the GMC dual headlight frames on the GMC core support and weld them to yours ( Be sure to first make a pattern off GMC support so they are positioned correctly when re-installed ) or just swap supports out.
GMCPaul
OOPS you wanted GMC to Chevy, Cut the extra headlight connectors off current harness, if your lucky the small square openings are in place behind the GMC dual headlight buckets on the core support so that if you remove the spot welds holding them on you can put the adusters in for Chevy headlights, you will need the 2 larger Chevy headlight buckets, and SS retainers. Now since your going From GMC to Chevy if you have no need for that 67-68 GMC top bar, the headlight bezels and main grill you should contact me.
