OK, Who Dumped This In My Yard....

-
Fess up, my wife is really PO'd. (I'm happy though)..

I actually know, I just don't wanna tell her so I blamed it on you guys.

I posted a while back about a guy here in town that just bought a really nice red '67 Burb. He got this one as a parts truck with it. I needed a 4x4 steering box so I went and asked him about selling the box. He said if I would take the truck out to my place I could have anything I wanted off of it except the rear side windows. It seems he got a 20 day notice from the City and was on his 18th or 19th day so he had to do something. He even brought it out. I put the steering box out of it in the '71 4x4 today.

That's what I thought Andy. I am going to strip it out and put the parts in the barn for now. I already have the side windows with the rubber seals out for him. The frame looks really good so I will hang on to that.

If you want the bare shell come and get it. I pulled all of the doors off today and will finish stripping it out in the next couple of days.

Kev, If you wouldn't mind I'd like to have you edit your post and remove the reference that you are interested in parts. I can't sell anything in this forum and members whose names are pink are not permitted to post wanting to buy stuff.... It may get my thread locked if you don't. Thanks

I have too many nice projects waiting to try and do anything with the burb. I may use the frame for one of the other trucks though.

Let me guess Nate, why don't I just put a hitch on the '71 4x4 and drop it off at your place on the way to KC..

Re: OK, Who Dumped This In My Yard....

It seems like half the burbs were jolly green giants! That frame and a nice 2wd body would go good together...

If you part it, I'll buy the steering wheel from ya.
