Delay wipers for a 74 w/dash switch - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Anybody know the GM part #'s for the switch & delay module for the dash mounted intermittent set-up? I'm pretty sure this was available through 82/83 or whenever they moved the controls to the column. Thanks in advance.

Don't know the GM part number but LMC, Chevy Duty, etc. sell the wiper/washer switch for around $25 and I know Year One sells the delay module that it connects to for under $30. Don't know if they are GM parts they sell.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I've got a local chevy dealership parts connection, but before I see him I like to have my part #'s correct to make it easier for him.

I'm at work now, but I'll get those numbers for you later today.

I'm going to convert my 75 (Gentleman Jim) to intermittants, but keep in mind that the dash mounting for the switch changed in 77. It went from having the bolt holes on the top and bottom of the switch to the two sides. Also, 73 and 74 are different too because the label for the wipers moved from the dash bezel to the switch itself in 75. You will have to use a later dash bezel to use the intermittant swich and drill new holes in the dash. There are also some wiring mods you need to make, I can post more on those later too.

This all only applies to 73-83 stuff, not 84 and up.
