JunkYard Thread

I went to this junkyard the other day and I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
Here is their website.
http://www.llclassicauto.com/
They are just north of Wendell Idaho, which is just west of Twin Falls.
Here are some pics of what I found. You can click on the pics and it should take you to my webshots page where you can see all my pics.

Re: JunkYard Thread

Yes they are VERY proud of their stuff. My Dad bought the Chevrolet script Valve Covers off of the blue 68 ( last pic in the first post) and they charged him $100. OUCH!!!

No Buddy Buckets., I looked in all of the 67-72s that they had. I didn't get pics of all that they had which were atleast 3-4 dozen of this body style.

Wow! looks like heaven on earth. We got a place in the San Francisco Bay Area called "All Chevy" and it looks like your pictures. They're prices are pretty good too, at least they used to be when I bought my hood from them.

Re: JunkYard Thread

Did you happen to see if any of them had a tilt column by chance? I called them about it and they're checking, but figured maybe you saw one. I've driven by and have actually dealt with them through the parts dept I work in but completely forgot about them. Thanks for reminding me, they may come in handy.

Re: JunkYard Thread

I got dibs on the Burb Roof Rack!! All the rest of you hands OFF!!! Ha HA. What kind of condition is the burb roof rack in, did you notice? Could I entice you to go back and pull it and ship it to me if I paid you? My wife has been wanting one for awhile, but they are getting hard to find, even though they really aren't all that popular!. Let me know. I've got a call into them right now to find out the condition, but you know what they are going to say. IT'S PERFECT! Yeah right!

One time I sold a set of those on ebay and the price bid up a little higher than that. I was totally surprised.

If I ever get any money I might just have to make a road/camping trip out west to buy some solid sheet metal. There's several trucks in that yard that we would consider fixer-uppers in Ohio.

Sweet70,
Can you hook a brotha up on that luggage rack on the burb? I'll pay you gas and time if you will find out if it's in good condition, and ship it back for me. I called them, but never heard back from them.

Re: JunkYard Thread

It's about 2 1/2 hours from me. I have accually been thinlking about heading back there in a month or so. We were there for about 5 hours and there were some parts of the yard we didn't make it into.

If they get back with you let me know and I can possibly pick it up for you when I go. I had ask them about something a year ago and it took a few phone calls and emails to get an answer.
