I think I got double vision.
Personally not my style and I really hate when someone cuts a hole in the top.

Re: Quite the truck for sale, not mine
So another knuckledragger from saskatchewan builds a truck. We gotta tell them to stop. LOL Maybe we shouldn't have turned the lights back on. LOL. Maybe he's an import from the rock. No self respecting Stooner like yourself would build a truck like that.
Sorry, couldn't help myself!!!! |

Re: Quite the truck for sale, not mine
I like the chop but have to agree that some of the rest of it is a bit much.
The good part is that outside of having to weld in a new section of roof to replace the sunroof most of it is just unbolt, throw in the scrap pile and bolt on the right stuff. The position of the gas pedal makes my right ankle hurt just looking at it. But I sure would like to see more photos of that seat and how well it actually fits the truck. With proper upholstery it could be the ticket to comfortable driving. |

I agree...I'm not not seeing it. As far as chopped...I think the Step Sides have a better look when chopped verses fleetsides. JMHO

It looks like the standard '67-'72 lights, one pair in the stock location and another pair, swapped left to right, placed into the tailgate.

There is nothing attractive about that truck, sad to say because I love our 67-72's. That truck isn't ugly...it's F...UGLY!!!

Re: Quite the truck for sale, not mine
sorry...i like the body lines without the chop....and more head room which is what trucks are good for. but it looks good just lowered rather than slammed in the weeds like a lot of people do....

Re: Quite the truck for sale, not mine
wow, the double lights are wild looking.
might actually look good if they were placed very very close together, and then mod the trim to be 1 piece. then you could work the body line of the tailgate into the light surround. but the spacing makes it look kinda goofy. late at night, it prolly looks like two bikes rolling down the road....

Re: Quite the truck for sale, not mine
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw those tail lights. It has to have a sunroof so you can stick your head out when you drive it with the chopped top.

Re: Quite the truck for sale, not mine
Boy! What a bunch of mean guys! Knuckle Draggers? Family Truckster? Pictures of Maverics? Where is your compassion? I'm always screaming on this board about "Restore it to stock" and I still subscribe to that belief. But I gotta say that truck looks kinda cool with the chopped top. Makes it look like a cruiser. I would never even consider doing that to mine but I can appreciate that guys effort. The sunroof sucks though. Just remember that some of you guys are throwing 22 inch rims with skinny little tires and slamming your trucks to within an inch of the pavement. Is that so much better than chopping the top? Just a matter of taste.
