That looks awesome!! That's the color I've always wanted and will probably eventually get. Things are really looking nice, I'm jealous.

Do you have a paint booth? Also, did you strip the paint with just a sander or did you use chemicals. I'm going to read your site, but haven't got a chance yet. Just looked at all the pretty pictures.

Sweet!!!! I love that color as well. Looks like it's going to be as clean as Swervin's engine. What color interior are you going to use?

i dont have a paint booth... here's how we are painting the truck: we are doing the cab bottom, firewall and inside down @ my dad's shop... and we are painting the insides of the doors, fenders and hood down there... i am going to assemble the truck and take it to a bake booth and have the entire exterior painted, as well as the bed painted on a set of saw horses...

check out the site!!! i've stripped paint both ways: w/ chemicals and w/ an air sander... if you have a lot of air avaliable, use an air sander... its quicker and not as messy... thx for the kind words!

i believe i'm going to two-tone the interior w/ black and silver... or mostly just silver... its up in the air... but getting close to decision time....

Man, it's looking nice!!!! The engine is purdy too. You are doing a fantastic job.

Only I can see I'd do, is take off that fan. That thing will cut your head off when it comes apart. Plus, they suck when it comes to cooling. Get a set of Spal electric fans and never look back.

That does look nice, makes me want to head over to my shop and get to work on my 86. Unfortunately, I need to put freeze plugs in my 87 and rebuild the rear diff on my 84. It never ends!!

As far as the fan goes, I'm a big fan of the factory ones. No electrical gremlins will prevent it from working and I know it was engineered to last at least 100k miles. What are you guaranteed for engineering when it comes to an aftermarket flex fan?

Has the photo been edited? Or is the fan on backwards?

Nice work. Are putting the stacks back on? I love the color.

definetly NOT a photo edited... we put the fan on so that it sucks air in through the radiator... i sold the original stacks that were on the truck when i got it... i'm going to buy new and run 'em the same way

Had a flex fan...hated it!! I now use a clutch fan...NEVER any problems.

Nice lookin truck, this is my favorite part of a resto..making it a vehicle again and re-gaining garage space!!

I'm so jealous!! I want to paint my truck that color someday.

Looks like if we all paint out trucks the color we want, a lot of us will have the same color

Looking good!!
