Re: Frames?!

what are you asking for?
Are you asking for opinions on what you should build? Shirt verses long?
Are you posting a wanted to buy thread for a frame? For a bed?

Wideopenracing15...you need to be a little clearer. Are you looking to buy? Are you looking for advice? I'm not sure what you are asking?

Re: Frames?!

Sorry I guess i didnt really make that clear. Im about to build a half ton truck. I need a frame, i have a box but its a long box and needs some work. Im asking is there anything in particular i should look for? As in rust, some model types, and i guess the short versus long debate. Are short beds that much harder to find? Oh and this truck is not going to used for hauling anything really at all.

Ozman Thanks for the offer but thats a little out of my way for the time being. I might check with you later and see if its still on craigslist.

Re: Frames?!

Shortboxes seem to be the most popular and that may be the reason why they are so hard to find. I really haven't been searching to hard over the many years but I have always seen a long box and thought looks cool but when a shortbox flew by I was just drooling and dreaming. Go short but thats just my opinion.
