Question What year are these.......

...........control arms? I'm gettin ready to rebuild them and I need to know what kit to order. I'm pretty certain they are not 67-72 because they are not greasable. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: What year are these.......

They look to be the 73-87 truck and 73-91 Blazer and Suburban arms.

Thanks 56. Are these better to rebuild than the 67-72's? I have access to a set of those and plan on buying new ball joints as well as dropped spindles.

I think they ride better, are a lot cheaper to buy parts for and if you ever need parts to fix one the parts are available everwhere. They made a lot of the 73-87 Chevy and GMC trucks and lots are still on the road working.

Thanks! Any suggestions on who to get the rebuild kit from? I want to go with poly bushings. Where's the best place to get dropped spindles from for the 73-87? I'm assuming the tie rod's are the same. Thanks for all the info.

Re: What year are these.......

Cheapest place for drop spindles is Early Classic Enterprises. Last I checked, they were 119 for 73-87 application.

I got my Urethane bushings from Summit. They were right at 60 dollars for all of them.

Thanks Kevin. What about the ball joints? Moog?

Looked at ECE website, they list the spindles for $229.
