need help w/ header selection
I need help choosing a new set of headers for my 86 c10.It already has headers from when I purchased it ,but they are too long, and the primarys are too small.(guessing around 1 1/2'').The truck has angle plug heads and the tuck is lowered about 5".It is a small block.Anyone have any suggestions or part #s.Thanks

Re: need help w/ header selection
I run hookers on my 86. They fit perfect. Make sure, whatever type you get, to have them coated. I had mine coated along with the y pipe it came with by an aftermarket company and its the difference between night and day as far as heat in the engine goes. And after a few thousand miles they still look killer.

Re: need help w/ header selection
I definately want something that is going to last.I have bags for the front so I am looking for something to stay up near the frame. Also wanting to keep performance in mind, they just opened a 1/8 mile track right by my house,so its on!
