It appears the dust sheild is missing or maybe I'm looking at it wrong! Anyways, I need a complete one (DS) for a 71-72, DANA 44 to match the other side (PS).

I use the 73 up dust shields as they are made of a lot thicker material. Around this area they are very plentiful in the yards. (67-72 dust shields are all rusted out).

I have a set of 73's, but keeping it original as possible, plus the other side is A-OK. Maybe some Mid - West coast brethern will take a look in there stash. Thanks for the suggestion. DP

I also have a set of "thick " backing plates. I,ll let you have the pair and 100.00 boot for the tailgate trim

sorry all i got is the h/d ones. its what all the 4x4 guys are looking for. they shy away from the stamped sheet metal ones. all my trucks are 2wd.

Just a thought. The shields shown are 3/4 ton. The rotors are different size than the 1/2 ton you are looking for.
Your pads will not set on the rotors correctly if you use those.

1/2 are 11 5/8" I believe and 3/4 are 12 1/2".

I parted out two d44 both were pulled from 6 lug blazer and were pulled by me.73 and up d44 6 lug shields are different from a 71-72 d44.
Thats my story and i'm sticking to it.
