Power steering question

I found a guy that has all the pieces I need to add power steering to my 71. The truck he is parting out is a 67, will everything bolt on without too many issues? I remember reading that some of the year models frames were different in that area, but couldn't remember what it was.

Re: Power steering question

The 67's had a power assist cylinder rather than intergal steering boxes. Make sure it is the right type before purchase.

Re: Power steering question

Yikes, I think I would go with a new kit you see on Ebay all the time. I would not trust a bunch of used 67 stuff that is likely not what you want and likely crapped out anyway. You dont want that power assist cylinder system.

Re: Power steering question

Thanks for the info guys. I called the guy that is selling it back and he didn't know the difference between the two so I guess I will keep looking. Thanks again!
