Maybe a stupid question...

But I've been getting everything ready to put a 67 front clip back on my 67 C-10. I seem to recall someone posting that there was a difference between the radiator support mounting bolts...is this correct? I've looked through LMC, and the Radiator Core Support mounting is the same for 67-72. I cannot find Radiatior Support mounting bolts in the catalog at all.

The truck currently has a 69-70 front clip, the radiator will stay the same, but will be replacing, fenders, inner fenders, radiator support, hood, hood latch, grille.

Trying to make sure I have everything I need to avoid any down time.

Thanks

I did the same swap but the core support was so bad on the 68 I used the 69 core support. If some one dosen't let you know for sure you might want to start with one fender first and try a test fit before you tear the whole thing apart. I thought the core supports were the same but not sure.

Re: Maybe a stupid question...

i have a 67 and a 68 donor truck the core fromt he 68 was the same, the problem that i ran into was the Radiator supports were different on the two, one was for a striaght six and one was for a v-8, wasnt that big of deal but had to move some mounts for it to work.

Re: Maybe a stupid question...

I just got the new radiator support on Saturday, and noticed that the piece pictured below (currently on the 69 front end on the truck) does not exist on the 67 radiator support...I also can't find it in any catalogs...do you not need it on a 67/68? If not, how do the headlight mounts attach to the rad. support?

Maybe a pic of someone's 67/68 would make sense to me...

Re: Maybe a stupid question...

the 67 68 radiator supports do not have mounting cups for the headlights like the 69 and up, also the 67 68 have some mounting holes for the lower vanance to mount up to it, I think thats the only dofference. also the radiator core support is different as well
