Hi all! Great site, My passenger side power window does not work, I verified current going to the motor with a test light in the plug that goes to the motor. The light comes on when I push the master switch but the motor does not turn

Sounds like you're missing the ground. Hppk the test light up to the Pos. terminal and check the other wire @ the motor. Good luck to ya.

I guess the ground is the black wire that is grounded to the inner door panel. The metal is not shiny it is painted, should I sand off the paint?
