I love it! Except the chop and painted chassis. My son loves the color.

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
They chopped the top so you dont have to open the garage door to get out, you can just drive under...seriously, nice truck.

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
I'm not a fan of the chopped top either, but I bet he gets at least 15K for it.

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
I actually like the chopped tops on the '67's. I was really thinking I would chop mine someday if I found a replacement cab to chop first.

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
Overall, I like the truck but as with everyone else, I don't like the chop, painted undercarriage nor the clear taillights - too "ricey" for me.

That gearshifter would have to go if I had it.

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
"The top is chopped 4 inches and is all metal there is no body filler or bondo in this truck at all." Nobody is that good who would believe that crap.
I agree about the chop and the shifter they make way nicer shifters than that, that are just as funtional and the chop to me looks hideous, he should have left it stock. To each his own I guess. Last edited by 68lwb292; 10-07-2009 at 05:09 PM. |

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
Well........... although I agree with what has been previously stated, if I had a ton of money to blow I would buy it and pimp that thing all over town smoking ricers.

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
Agree and I only offer criticism because I don't (cyber) "know" the guy. It's not one of you guys.
As car guys I think we should stick together and not speak ill of another man's ride. It's his vision, his sweat, and his money. I even (occasionally) admire lowriders and tuner cars. I have ZERO interest in them but I sometimes see that someone has really busted butt to make his special. That the owner has tremendous fab skills and has done excellent work - even if I don't especially care for his taste. Of course, I wish he'd applied those chops to a car/truck I like....but he probably feels the same about me/us! |

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
I like it just the way it is and really like the chop. I would change the head lights because I have had that style and they throw strange light patterns and the white tail lights leave me cold.
I could do without the painted frame but it will indeed win shows over a black frame. I could take or leave the shifter but if it fell into my hand right it would probably be take. And best of all I like the fact that it has real wheels and tires on it and not those ugly "Look at Me" oversized wheels with rubber bands on them for tires. This one can actually be driven without fear of breaking a thousand dollar wheel and five hundred dollar tire on a pothole in the road. It could live happily in my garage and I'd drive the wheels off of it but I'd bet the reserve is way out of my budget. |

Re: Truck on Ebay!!!(must see)
I kinda like it, but I don't think I would fit in a chopped truck.
