67 to 72 Chassis
Question, I just bought a "BOX" of truck parts for the cab and fenders .1953 cab and fenders sitting on a "what he said was a 67 frame" It is a roller and it looks to be all there.........BUT how do I tell what year chassis it is?
Is there some numbers or markings on the half ton frames? Thanks

The VIN is stamped on the drivers side rail near the front of where the door would be.

Is it located on the top of the rail (chassis) and could it be seen with the cab and fenders mounted?
Is there a way to read what year chassis it is, number or letter for a particular year ?
