Sweet 1 ton GOV DEALS fire truck

i dont want to give away my sources, but i have bought lots of trucks off govdeals.com (no square bodies so far). here is a 17,000 mile 1978 1 ton that is sweet. its in NJ and i am sure it is rust free.

http://www.govdeals.com/eas/itmDispl...13&acctID=1915

before i was acquanited w/ this site, i have seen lots others. i will post them as i find them. some of these old fire trucks are just perfect.

On other websites you are not allowed to post links to on going auctions. Should be the same here, where are the moderators?

No problems with posting that.

Now, as a former firefighter......... I WANT THAT TRUCK!!!!!! Seriously, I do! There are a couple pumpers in town that I am itching to buy. I want to put together a fully functioning parade rig. Too bad it's in NJ.

go to gov deals. there are always 8 or 10 fir trucks on there. they are separated into catagories. you can get some delas. they just dont have a lot of utility after they are so old (you'd know better than I).

Re: Sweet 1 ton GOV DEALS fire truck

My point was, how would you like to be bidding on this or any other truck and all of a sudden someone posts a live link to an ongoing auction that you are bidding on?

Re: Sweet 1 ton GOV DEALS fire truck

It's an auction, thats bound to happen sooner or later. Just like ebay, I am bidding on stuff that I am sure others on here are watching. If you want it bad enough, bid high.

Re: Sweet 1 ton GOV DEALS fire truck

That is a SWEET truck! I love old firetrucks anyway, they're usually low mileage and well maintained, but I haven't seen one on a square body!
