Flexplate specs
1972 c-10 with a 350...
153 or 168 tooth? 11.5 or 10.75 Converter bolt pattern? Mainly need to know the bolt pattern because I am looking at torque converters, and I want to make sure it will work with my flexplate. The B&M ones I'm looking at say "This torque converter requires a small bolt pattern flexplate or dual pattern flexplate for installation."

It should have the 168 tooth with the starter having the staggered bolt pattern (easiest way to tell). The plate should have the dual pattern then

I found a picture of my flex plate. The red circled holes are the ones I used with my torque converter... are the unused holes the other bolt pattern?

Yes if they are on a different bolt circle. If they are on the same bolt circle as the three u used then it would be for a six bolt torque converter.

Oh good!!!
So my B&M torque converter will work without me having to get a different flexplate.
