What's the story on the motor? Was it running, ever rebuilt, any knocks?

The door frames are different, but they could be changed.

Both need to be gone through. I'm pretty certain they have never been rebuilt. I'm basically selling them as cores, that's whey the price is so low. Let me know.

This is the heat shield that bolts to the firewall, not the one for the exhaust manifold. It's been POR 15. I bought it from a boardmember when I was going to build a BB SWB 50th. Will post pictures when the site allows.

Re: BB 402,TH 400, and misc other parts

To help Rob out the shield is the piece that is needed for bb trucks on the pass. footwell, so 70CST it is the unit you need for your truck. There should be two indentations in the pass. floor board to locate the shield for you. If your fenders are already on it will be a little harder to install but can be done. Hope this helps you all.

What vehicle did this combo come out of? Do you have the carb and does it go with the combo? Will you consider trades? Nice used or NOS? If so, what do you need? Are you going to the Moultrie, Ga show in Nov? Thanks, Dan

The motor and tranny were in a 71 1/2 ton camper special. I have a quadrajet carb, but I'm not sure if it orginally came with this motor. I am planning to go to Moultrie. What ya got?

Re: BB 402,TH 400, and misc other parts

Rob,

I"ll take them. However, I'll be at Moultrie on that Friday and Saturday so I'd rather meet there and save on the shipping cost. PM me and let me know how you want payment sent.

Thanks,
Dan
