Anyone have one of these they want to part with(see pic)?Picked up one at the last swap meet..guy said it would fit..it doesn't.Good thing I only spent $5 bucks on it.

why would you want that piece of scrap on a truck? my dad pulled off one of those 25 years ago on his 72 burb and modified a junkyard class 3 hitch to fit. i have a nice (class II?) frame mounted hitch with a permant flat draw bar that came on my 72 suburban 3/4 ton that will be up for sale because i am looking at getting a class IV/V setup with a 2x2 reciever. if you are going to put a hitch on truck, it might as well be rugged enough to pull something more than a small car can tow. are you looking for a pickup, blazer or suburban? i dont know if there are any differences with the frames but someone else chime in on this i do know that 73-91 burbs have a frame that curve down in the back so i can't pilfer the hitch from my dad's 87 burb when he retires it in the next few months. hope someone saves that suburban in your picture!

Just need to pull my 5x8 so I can haul the zero turn.Brakes are all new but I wouldn't pull anything bigger,I would never get it stopped.

I found a class III hitch for about $30... just look for one that has mounting holes approx. 31.5" apart...

on CL all the time.

I have one out there off a 72 blazer, it had a brace welded on the frame for the back piece support, I can get a pci this weekend. Thanks Randy

Sorry for delay, as I said the blazer had another brace across frame for rear part of hitch/ $15 plus shipping. Thanks Randy
