What did those seats come out off? Are they 67-72 chevy buckets? Do you need them to slide?

Re: Interior someone please Help
Looks like older Mercedes Benz buckets. Probably 126 chassis car. Sorry if no one else knows what I am talking about. I repair Benz vehicles for a living.

Re: Interior someone please Help
Cutting and repositioning the front mounts that bolt to the floor will lower the seats down a little but will probably still be too high. I had the same problem when bolting up 91 chevy buckets in mine with sliders. I threw away the sliders and built me a seat frame out of square tubing and angle iron. They dont slide, but there exactly where i want them.

Re: Interior someone please Help
hows it goin?
correct me if im wrong, but from what i understand, u took the brackets off the bench seat which is a slider, right? and it seems like you also took the brackets off the buckets, which look also like sliders. (i see a handle near the bottom of one of the bucket seat) if im correct, why would you want 2 sets of sliders stackd atop each other?? best bet would be to use only the slider brackets from the buckets seat and make a bracket for them. |
