Using OEM AC Brackets with headers?
Can someone give me some guidance on mounting and OEM compressor with headers?

I am guessing you are talking about small block brackets. In this case, there are custom brackets out there, or you will have to cut the bracket that bolts around the factory manifold. Trevor

use a notched bracket
and longer header studs and spacers

i am guessing that you are talking about the bracket that mounts to the rear of the A/C compressor. If you look in a jegs catalog, they will chow a bracket, that mounts to the header flange and give you a hole to hold the lower rear compressor mount. In process with a 70 Camaro, and needed the same thing.

Can we get some photos of all this please!!! I can't figure out where to attach the rear a/c bracket. Does it go to the manifold or what???

If I understand your last question, my 350 had a stud on the right side, at the front of the intake, which served to locate the rear of the original ac compressor. Here's a pic of the front of my engine before I pulled it from the chassis. I hope it will help.
