I'm in the process of putting a Hot Rod Air kit in my truck. So far, not to bad.

Re: Aftermarket air conditioning kits
i did the vintage a/c sure fit.i love it.it wasn't real difficult.but,it did have share it's of snags on the install.i had my cab totally torn out so, it was a good time to add sound deadner and made the a/c install easier.frank 7t7 also did it.check out my pics in the "let see some engine bay pics" thread,by the way welcome i see your from portland.were close.

Re: Aftermarket air conditioning kits
I have put the Vintage Air setup into a couple of different vehicles. And other than just being time consuming, it was a rather easy install, and the results are fantastic. I have these systems in my '79 Jeep CJ-5 and in a '66 Mustang fastback, and they both will get cold enough to run my fiance out (well, the jeep has to have the top on it )
