Thank you to all those that have served, or are currently a part of any branch of the armed services.
I can not thank you enough for your personal sacrifice that allows me to enjoy the awesome freedom that is a part of being an American citizen. God be with you and your family, service personal past, and present.

Re: Honor for our American Service Men and Women, Nov 11
I want to say thank you to all the veterans who put their lives ahead of us so we could be safe in our homes and free in our country.
It is easy for many of us to take our safety and freedom for granted, and most of the time I don’t even think about it, but I do know that if it wasn’t for our military men and women who pay the ultimate price, people all over the world would be so much worse off without them. So I am glad I have this opportunity to express my gratitude. Veterans are all heroes to me. Thank you. |

Thanks veterans
Thank you to all the vets past and present for defending our right to do the things we enjoy. Without you, our country would crumble. Thanks for your service and selfless acts while serving our great country. We salute you.

Re: Honor for our American Service Men and Women, Nov 11
Being a Vietnam era veteran, I also thank all the veterans that have served and the future veterans that are serving now.
Long time ago when I was in the military, a person asked me if I was a God fearing man and I answered, yes. Then he asked if I believed in the ten commandments. Again, I answered, yes. He said, if you're at war you have to kill and God said you shouldn't kill, but you still have to do it. So you would be a sinner. I answered yes, that's probably true. |

I came over to the general discussion side of the board to start a thread for Veteran's Day and to say thanks to all the men and women of our armed forces. I'm glad to see someone has beat me to it! Fly your flags with pride!
