sno chains/lwb 2wd/colorado passes????
what's up ya'll?.......i gotta' a question for ya'..
i've always owned 4x4's ,but i scored a cool 77 longbed 2wd camper special with a 454/400th & i was just wondering how this would do over a blizzardy ,,steepish ,typical colorado pass with rud 4x4 chains all the way around?..... & does anybody know if the camper specials are posi track rearends?...thanks. long live chevy trucks........ |

I don't know that I would try it with chains alone. Probably not even with weight in the back. I have done the passes in many vehicle types but a 2wd truck just doesn't sit well with me.

yeah,your right,so now you've given me an excuse to buy a 73-87 4x4......maybe i'll trade..........but i like my 454......thanks for your input......

That just means you need a 4x4 too. If I had the money I would have a 4x4 Blazer, just to be a little "more rounded". (Not in body style though.)
