so i brought my truck out to california from minnesota
me and my budd just ripped out the old 305 for a new 350 bord .30 over performance cam,pistons,new holley manual choke carb yet now some hep.....we believed we hookd up everything yet i have to manually shift on the tree itdoesnt automatically shift from 1 2 then D..i haveo o down to 1 then to 2 ....also should the timing remain 8-12 even if it is bored new engine next to the old 305...

also those are long tube headers so we had to use flexpipe to get around the crossbar holding the tranny up...also this is my first build ihave had this truck since i was fiftee and now just starting seeing i have money (navy) also some thoughts on gauges option..i have seen dakota digital has a full thing for my year of c10 that fits into my bezel...or for cheaper what sizes would i need to get newgauges ....and just put them in my bezel pods?? speedo,oil pressure,volts,temp,ill keep the original gas and then put a tach were the clock was
